The project is intended to leverage the huge potential of Le Havre, through a big word based festival focusing on encounters between the public and the creators and on the links between registers, places and periods. The enormous wealth of literature and human potential of Le Havre region, it urban modernity and its unique geographical location contribute to the high-profile economical and cultural development of the site to which  "Le Havre des mots" aims to bring exceptional life and visibility. Only two hours from Paris, on the first week-end of June, this festival could become a flagship event for authors, publishers and media: a fantastic opportunity for Le Havre to communicate with all audiences in a high quality platform and for all public.
