"The Veggies Circus" or how to fight against childhood obesity, by helping children develop a taste for fruit and vegetables, in a fun and educational and above all guiltless approach!!! A project where health, nutrition and education meet.

Born from a widely shared observation of the rapid increase in child obesity today, leading to the urgent necessity to deploy awareness-raising initiatives advocating balance diet at a very early age, COLUMBIA RIVER - in partnership with the nutritionist Doctor Pierre AZAM – has conceived a fun program of, based on the discovery of vegetables in their various aspects, aiming at considering veggies as attractive, fun and exciting.

This "Veggies Festival" will present various initiatives, including shows and fun yet educational workshops focusing on vegetables. Thus children and schools will be invited to take part in these thematic activities in connection with vegetables in their various forms.

Extensive partnerships will be created in order to ensure the greatest visibility for this trans-generational event.
